Smile Design
The stage before the treatment. Your smile is designed digitally, you see it, and nothing is prepared until you have approved it.
What it is
Smile design is the planning stage of cosmetic work, not a treatment in its own right. Photographs, measurements and the proportions of your face are used to design the shape, length, shade and line of the finished teeth — digitally, and before anything irreversible happens.
It matters because it moves the decision to the point where changing your mind is still free. Every veneer, crown and full-arch case here goes through it; it is not an upgrade.

What happens
-
Photographs and a conversation
What you want changed, in your words. Most of this happens before you fly.
-
Measurement and design
The design is worked out against the proportions of your face rather than against a catalogue of smiles.
-
Your approval
You see the design and say yes, no, or not quite. Nothing is prepared until you have.
-
Into treatment
The approved design becomes the specification the restorations are made to.
Who it suits
If you are considering veneers, crowns or a full-arch case, this is already part of it. Ask for it by name if you want the design discussed in more detail before you commit to travelling.
